Enter the era of the Betting Exchange

--

Thousands of US bookmakers and loads of offshore Sports books are all jostling and shoving to offer the gambler, the bettor, the punter, the PLAYER! their services... because being a bookie is... roughly of course, a license to print money. But hey, that amazing tool - the Internet, can now let the rookie become the bookie!!

tradesports has introduced exchange betting, which has resulted in a major mutinous uprising in betting.

  • Exchange betting allows the common gambler the chance to make a bet and then also bet against the same thing happening! There's MORE!
  • Tradesports offers BETTER ODDS than a bookie!! Of course Tradesport is not a bookie, it is just a facilitator between it's betting clients (where it takes a small commission), so the bettors basically decide the lines and the odds. The sheer dynamics of exchange betting works to the benefit of all by cutting out the middleman. And with Internet technology, it allows bettors to carry on betting right through a game.

Example: If a bettor likes Miami against Chicago in football, he will find fellow bettors around the US that will be prepared to give him a better price for the Dolphins than a bookie might offer. His fellow bettors will do this because they disagree with him and are inviting other bettors, such as him, to take them on by offering tempting prices. Likewise, when he thinks a team won't win, he can do the same, and lay it to other bettors (basically betting against something happening).

HOW TO....

Very simple... Go to tradesports web site and open an account. There is a massive range of events and happening to bet on - anything from whether it is going to snow tonight, to how much it will snow tonight to whether the game will be cancelled because of snow tonight! And then also the sports betting - NFL, NBA, etc etc

  • When you click on any bet, a whole lot of numbers will come up - some in blue and some in pink. The left side (pink) of the screen is for bettors who want to bet against the proposal. The right side (blue) is for those who want to bet for it.
  • Every single thing you may need to make your bet is there on that screen (except your money of course!)
  • The best odds are towards the centre of the screen, with the next best stacked up behind them. The odds can be seen in a choice a different layouts or configurations - money line, digital, fractions, decimals, 0-100, etc. the amount of money being offered at each price is also on view. To up every dollar of the bet, click the $ figure. To bet a smaller amount, click the odds figure and - TA DA! - an online betting slip will appear! The bet amount and the odds you are prepared to wager at is fixed by means of the simple wheel . Once satisfied with your bet, click the BET FOR or BET AGAINST buttons that's it - BET MADE.
  • Should you not like the odds on offer, you can place an order at juicier odds. There is a strong likelihood that another exchange member will give you the bet you want, should they be realistic! On the other hand, you can become bookie, and offer odds against. Should your odds be the best, your bet will automatically go to the top of the list.

The betting screen on tradesports will change the way you look at sports betting. The UK has already experienced the Exchange Betting revolution and boo makers crying in their tea as their profit margins fall. We can not feel sorry for them unfortunately! We're having too much fun!

We'll bring out the bubbly when our bookies start crying in their beer! Bring on the Betting Exchange!
